What to Bring to Soccer Camp: A Simple Packing List

A full camp day is a lot of running. A few minutes of packing the night before makes the morning easier for everyone. Your camp week page lists anything specific to that week; this is the general list.

The basics

Cleats and shin guards, a ball with your kid's name on it, and athletic clothes they can get dirty in. Bring a spare pair of socks.

Water and food

A large water bottle, filled and labeled. Pack lunch and snacks that hold up in the heat, unless your camp week page says food is provided.

Sun and weather

Sunscreen put on before drop-off, a hat, and a light layer for cooler mornings. On rainy days, a towel in the bag helps.

Label everything

Bottles, balls and shin guards all look the same by Wednesday. A name on each one saves a trip to the lost and found.

Questions parents ask

Does my kid need cleats?

Cleats are best on grass. If your kid does not have them yet, sneakers with good grip work for a first day.

Where do I find what is included for my week?

Each camp week page lists the details for that week, including the field and the daily schedule.
