Soccer Camp or Private Training: Which Fits Your Kid?

Camp and private training do different jobs. Some families do both at different times of the year.

Camp: a week of playing with friends

Camp is about playing a lot of soccer with kids their own age, in games and small groups, with coaches who play alongside them. Parents tell us their kids came home tired, happy and excited for the next morning.

Private training: one skill at a time

A private session is one coach and one player for an hour, built around what your kid wants to improve. It suits kids who want to sharpen a specific skill or build confidence before a season or tryout.

How to choose

If your kid wants to play and have fun all summer, start with a camp week. If they keep mentioning one part of their game, or a tryout is coming, a few private sessions may fit better.

Questions parents ask

How much does each cost?

Private training is $90 for a 60-minute session with no card fee. Camp week prices are listed on each camp week page, and card payments for camp add a card fee shown before you pay.

Who coaches camps and training?

Current college players coach both.
