The PTP Story
Founded by a player who refused to quit, PTP is built on one mission—
giving the next generation mentors who prove that resilience is the ultimate skill.
Why PTP Exists: The Next Generation Deserves Better
Most young players never get to train with athletes who've actually lived the journey. They don't see what it takes to overcome adversity, push through doubt, or compete at the highest levels.
PTP was founded to change that. After experiencing two ACL tears in 15 months—July 2024 and September 2025—our founder realized the game needs more than coaches who teach drills. It needs mentors who show kids what resilience looks like in real life.
That's why every PTP coach is a current NCAA Division 1 athlete or professional player. Because young players don't just need technical training—they need role models who prove that comebacks are always possible.

"Every young player deserves mentors who prove that setbacks are just setups for comebacks—that's the PTP difference."
Mentorship First, Skills Second
At PTP, we don't just teach soccer—we inspire the next generation through mentorship. Kids train with players who are actively competing at the collegiate and professional level, learning directly from athletes who understand the mental game as much as the physical one.
Our coaches aren't just instructors—they're living proof that hard work, resilience, and belief can take you anywhere. They share their journeys, answer questions, and show young players what it really takes to succeed.
That personal connection changes everything. Because when kids see someone who's overcome adversity and made it, they start believing they can too. That's the PTP mission.

The Mission: Inspiring the Next Generation
Players Teaching Players was built to give young athletes something most training programs miss—real mentorship from players who've lived the journey. Every camp, every session, every interaction is designed to inspire kids to believe in themselves, work harder, and never give up on their dreams.
Today, PTP operates across five states, connecting NCAA Division 1 athletes and professionals with the next generation of players. Together, we're proving that soccer isn't just about skills—it's about building confidence, resilience, and belief that carries into every part of life.
How PTP Grew Into a Movement
Backyard Beginnings (2021)
PTP started with one simple idea: players teach best. What began as backyard training sessions quickly grew as parents saw the difference real mentorship makes. The response was overwhelming—kids needed more than drills.
Building the Foundation
PTP's founder trained at Philadelphia Union Academy while growing the business. The vision was clear: give the next generation access to mentors who understand the highs and lows of competitive soccer.
Facing Adversity — July 2024
The first ACL tear. A devastating setback that tested everything. But this moment reinforced PTP's mission—young players need mentors who've faced adversity and fought back stronger.
Adversity Strikes Again — September 2025
Just two months later, the second ACL tear. Two surgeries in 15 months. This was the moment that could have ended everything—instead, it became the catalyst for doubling down on PTP's mission to inspire through resilience.
Leading the Next Generation
Today, PTP's founder continues playing at Villanova Men's Soccer while leading a team of NCAA and professional mentors. The mission is bigger than one person—it's about proving to every young player that setbacks don't define you, comebacks do.
Players Teaching Players Today
PTP now operates across five states with a network of NCAA Division 1 and professional mentors. Every camp, every session reinforces the same message: soccer is more than a sport—it's a tool for growth, confidence, and resilience that lasts a lifetime.
"The next generation deserves mentors who've lived the journey—who prove that resilience, belief, and hard work can overcome any obstacle."— The PTP Mission
