Eddy Davis Joins PTP Soccer Camp at Wilson Farm Park

July 6 to 10 at Wilson Farm Park was our biggest PTP camp week yet at that point in the summer.

We had an incredible group of campers, a special guest appearance from Eddy Davis and coaches from around the world coming together to train and mentor the next generation.

Thank you to every camper, parent, coach and guest who helped make it such a special week. This was a huge week for PTP.

Technical work, team games and mentorship

Our July 6 to 10 coaching plan at Wilson Farm Park started with first touch under pressure, one versus one play, passing and finishing. We paired those morning themes with a planned series of afternoon World Cup games.

Friday’s schedule called for finals and leadership activities. We also made room in the plan for questions about college soccer and our coaches’ paths through the game.

That mix of soccer instruction and access to players was central to how we designed the week. Eddy Davis joined a coaching group from around the world, bringing another perspective to a week that our recap described as our biggest yet at that point in the summer.
